Course aim

To develop skills in project or research management in nutrition/food science by engaging in work-integrated
learning with a community or industry partner, or with a research team.

Course content

Students undertake an advanced independent research project or work integrated learning experience that
requires a significant commitment to scholarship and future career preparation. The project or placements may
be with an academic staff member which may involve collaboration with a community or industry partner, or an
independent project with industry.

All students must complete Nutrition Communication and Food Studies (FOSC 3014). Students must also complete either Product development and Food analysis (FOSC 3009) OR Community Nutrition Promotion (FOSC 3019).
