Course aim

To provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge of the impact of digital business, its implications for both organisations and consumers, key issues and priorities in developing and running digital businesses as well as business models and operating strategies of successful global business operating in digital pure play and click and mortar spaces.

Course content

Understanding critical success factors for digital business; common and developing revenue and business models for digital businesses; critical issues in developing e-business website/apps/social media presences; the role of content and conversion; online marketing and growth hacking (including search, email marketing, display, affiliates, and social media marketing); understanding and using analytics, KPIs and Big Data.
