Project Management Research Thesis

Course aim

To develop the skills necessary to execute a systematic research study on a specific topic relevant to the project management discipline.

Course content

This course involves the planning and execution of a research topic relevant to the project management discipline. Based on the research proposal developed in Masters Research Theory and Practice, students will fine-tune the research proposal, conduct the research, collect data, analyse data, clearly present the findings, and submit an 8000-word research thesis. In consultation with the course coordinator or an academic supervisor, students who have not completed a research proposal must develop within this course however, it is highly recommended to develop a research proposal before enrolling in this course. Students planning to undertake any research involving humans, animals, or execution risks, must apply for and be granted human and animal research ethics approval and/or conduct a risk assessment prior to commencing their research.
