Course aim

To advance students’ knowledge of ethical theories and approaches, and analytical capability in examining public health research, policy and practice issues.

Course content

Philosophical perspectives on ethics, such as utilitarianism, liberalism and communitarianism, as frameworks for public health research, policy and practice. Application of analytical tools in examining ethical issues in professional practice, research and management.
