To equip business professionals with knowledge and skills to investigate and analyse opportunities for improving organisational decision-making practices with the help of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
Topics include problem structuring; sources and types of data; data validity and reliability; methods for obtaining data; core mathematical and statistical tools for analysing and transforming data; simple predictive and prescriptive analytics for diverse data and enterprise decision making problems in finance, marketing, supply chain, and human resources; errors and uncertainty; and monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of systems.
