Course aim

To equip business professionals with an understanding of the benefits and ability to manage the risks related to data privacy, consent, data confidentiality, data ethics, data governance and data quality.

Course content

The contribution of data privacy, consent, confidentiality, ethics, governance and quality to enabling data-enriched organisations; origins and historical principles of data privacy and governance; trends and future challenges for organisations in data privacy, governance and quality; data privacy, governance and quality frameworks, mechanisms and tools; opportunities and challenges with cross-organisational data sharing, international boundaries; organisational culture and the adoption of data privacy, governance and quality.
