Course aim

Develop an understanding of the application of speech pathology theories and concepts in a professional practice setting to facilitate the transition from the classroom to the clinical setting.

Course content

Application of knowledge, skills and attributes relevant to speech pathology practice through simulated clinical learning experiences. The profession of speech pathology and teaming. Principles and strategies of practice including communication and observational skills, critical thinking, task analysing and goal setting.
