Physiotherapy Clinical Skills (Acute)

Course aim

To provide students with specialised knowledge of the theory, assessment and management techniques for acute physiotherapy practice across the lifespan.

Course content

Students will learn the introductory clinical knowledge and skills required for acute physiotherapy practice across the lifespan. Pathology of common cardiorespiratory, orthopaedic, neurological and gerontological conditions.
Principles of, and skills in, assessment and management across the lifespan for acute care.
