Course aim

To introduce creative learning through digital and visual literacies that explore the multiple viewpoints of diverse learners within an inclusive pedagogical approach.

Course content

Students will develop insight into creative learning through visual and digital literacies connecting to broad pedagogical approaches for working towards inclusion in diverse contexts. Students will engage in practical workshop activities, planning for learning and teaching, written reflection, and fieldwork. Students will develop understandings of methods and methodologies in relation to visual and digital literacies through embodied strategies that focus on inclusive pedagogies. Students will undertake a practice-based project that will apply digital and visual literacies to their own practice.
