To introduce theory and practices of Creative Body-based Learning (CBL) as a broad pedagogical approach for working toward inclusion across diverse learning settings.
Students will develop critical understanding for implementing Creative Body-based Learning (CBL) as a broad pedagogical approach for working towards inclusion in diverse contexts. Students will work as a learning community to explore and interrogate key underpinning literature across disciplines, through practical workshop activities, discussion, planning for learning and teaching, written reflection, and fieldwork. Students will develop their knowledge in and practical skills for using various methods to facilitate and assess active, creative body-based practices, as a theorised pedagogical approach to teaching and learning for a variety of contexts.
