UniSA Education Futures
To further develop students capabilities to teach science using contemporary approaches that are appropriate to learners in secondary school.
Students will apply and scrutinise a range of contemporary practices, including inquiry approaches, to engage, challenge and assess scientific understanding of all learners. They will critically analyse prevailing modes of teaching science and explore ways to enhance participation and engagement for all students. Studnets will analyse how key curriculum documents, such as the Australian Curriculum, shape secondary school science teaching and learning, and empower their students to be scientifically literate and informed citizens.
