To develop pre-service teachers' understanding of the humanities and social sciences curriculum, including the curriculum content, substance and structure as well as strategies for effective planning, teaching and assessment.
Pre-service teachers will develop a deep understanding of the content and structure of the Australian humanities and social sciences secondary curriculum. Pre-service teachers will develop a range of teaching and learning strategies appropriate for the learning area including planning for and a range of abilities using a range of resources including ICT.
