UniSA Education Futures
This course builds on the knowledge, skills and values that students have encountered and developed throughout the Technologies major courses. The course aims to extend students' insights into the valuable and reciprocal contribution that Technologies Education brings to secondary students and to the wider community, including industry.
Students will investigate the role that external professionals and community representatives play in broadening professional knowledge and practice. Students will work collaboratively within professional environments to liaise, negotiate and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and meet a diverse range of design-based needs. Pre-service teachers will refine and apply their planning and teaching skills to collaboratively produce scoped and sequenced teaching packages that reflect an understanding of how students learn.
