Course aim

This course will provide students with relevant professional project management skills that are essential in the games production industry. Students will gain an understanding of the relevant theories and tools used in the industry and have an opportunity to apply this knowledge.

Course content

Students will build on their professional skills gained in previous courses and gain practical experience in project management methodologies relevant to the games industry. Students will also develop a high-level understanding of the business models within the gaming sector and also intellectual property considerations. Students will review the career options within the gaming sector and experience the importance of cross-collaboration in creative production teams.
