Course aim

Complete a type endorsement on a multi engine aircraft, complete the instrument flight rules ground simulator lessons and successfully pass the CASA Instrument Rating Flight Test.

Course content

Type endorsement on multi-engine aircraft including normal and simulated emergencies; instrument flight rule procedures conducted in the simulator and in flight, including holding patterns, precision and non precision approaches.

Students must hold a minimum of a Class II Medical with at least 6 months validity. Students must remain compliant with the Aviation Academy's Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP). Students must have passed CASA Instrument Rating Theory Exam (IREX).
