Complete the instrument flight rules ground simulator lessons and successfully pass the CASA Instrument Rating Flight Test.
Instrument flight rule procedures conducted in the simulator and in flight, including holding patterns, precision and non precision approaches in both normal and non-normal scenarios.

Students must hold a minimum of a Class II Medical with at least 6 months validity. Students must remain compliant with the Aviation Academy's Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP). Students must have passed CASA Instrument Rating Theory Exam (IREX).
