The aim of this course is to provide you with an advanced understanding of how projects and organisations manage their exposure to extreme internal and external threats. This includes disaster recovery, business recovery, crisis management, incident management, emergency management and contingency planning.
Students will study an advanced and integrated body of knowledge in the domain of business continuity, including: Business continuity management systems and concepts including Societal Factors and Business Impact Analysis; Enterprise Risk Assessment; Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity; and Recovery Objectives.
This course will establish a foundation for planning and application of business continuity management systems through evaluation and analysis of specialist concepts.
