Course aim

Preservice teachers will apply their knowledge of how primary students learn mathematics and science to plan, teach and then evaluate an interdisciplinary unit of work.

Course content

Preservice teachers will develop the pedagogical skills, scientific and mathematical knowledge, and capabilities to plan an interdisciplinary unit of work that is based on ACARA's Australian Curriculum, Science and Mathematics. This will take into account the integration of ICTs, learner differentiation, and learner diversity.
