Course aim

To develop preservice teachers to work as members of a birth to 5 years teaching team and to develop their knowledge and skills to engage children in democratic inquiry-based pedagogies and pedagogical documentation.

Course content

Preservice teachers will focus on the role of the teacher in a preschool context. Preservice teachers will apply an advanced body of knowledge of contemporary theories and practice as they engage with curriculum documents, children, families and educators to implement democratic inquiry-based pedagogies in a preschool setting.
