Course aim

To develop preservice teachers knowledge of digital literacies relevant to teaching including their affordances and challenges in diverse settings.

Course content

Preservice teachers will be introduced to a range of teaching strategies for using ICT to expand curriculum learning opportunities in the classroom. Preservice teachers will use digital systems to create ideas and information, and to define, design and implement digital solutions. Preservice teachers will be introduced to the information system components of data, and digital systems (hardware, software and networks).
