To deepen and expand on knowledge of classic and contemporary literature and of digital media in the context of current curriculum frameworks.
In this course students will analyse examples of classic and contemporary print literature (picture books, novels, short stories, poetry, graphic narrative) and digital media (interactive website, blog, film, animation) in order to develop a vocabulary by which to discuss literature in social and cultural contexts. Students will learn about the way that children and young people consume and produce print literature and digital media in formal and informal educational settings in diverse contexts and with a range of established and emerging technologies.
