To explore and apply text and social media analytic methods and tools. To use analytic and visualisation tools and present outcomes appropriately in support of a case or business question.
This course will develop student knowledge in web analytics including acquiring content and data from websites. Building on this knowledge students will analyse web text incorporating discourse analysis, content analysis and sentiment analysis. User analytics, including interpreting users' interaction with social media sites, such as
comments, likes and upvotes, and user activity metadata will also be covered in this course.
