Course aim

This course will provide students with the opportunity to discover the conjunctions their disciplines provide for them, and encourage student self-awareness by researching, reflecting on and planning for possible future domains of life and work to which they may aspire.

Course content

The course provides students with the opportunity to identify and research connections between their disciplinary interests, future aspirations and contemporary domains of life and work. Based on a wide range of industry-based resources and input, collaborative investigation and guided reflection, the course enables students to discover potential life and work opportunities that invoke their disciplinary interests.

Students research, report and present on domains and organisations relevant to their particular experience and professional interests, identify emerging trends and opportunities and develop a plan for engagement with domains/organisation in which they aspire to participate.
