Responsible Leadership in Health

Course aim

To prepare students for leadership roles in health (nationally and internationally); specifically to lead in a multi- stakeholder context and cope responsibly with social leadership challenges. Students will acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of leadership, explore what it means to be an effective and responsible leader and develop advanced leadership competencies.

Course content

Leadership in a health service context; Leadership decision making; Transformational leadership; Leadership roles and styles; Leadership vision; Leadership development; Self leadership.
