Course aim

To be able to critically review the principles underlying research, identify the range of research methods and design used in different fields, and critically evaluate their application in research planning and development.

Course content

Students will investigate the range of research methodologies and designs in the social sciences, research paradigms/frameworks, ethics, research project management, planning and development.
