Capstone in Health Services Management

Course aim

To provide students with an opportunity to apply their knowledge to a professional practice area and demonstrate relevant competencies by engaging with a contemporary real-world or simulated project.

Course content

Undertake a student-led, real-world project utilising relevant research methodologies and skills under the supervision of an academic staff member, which may involve collaboration with a community or industry partner. Projects will address key competency areas in a health services management context, including: leadership, health and healthcare environment, business skills, communications and relationship management, and professional and social responsibility.
