To develop insight into cultural perspectives for enhanced professional practice through experiences of country, service learning and engagement.
Plan and preparation for cultural learning; contribute, as part of a team, to a cultural learning experience; critically reflect on the role of service learning, experience with multiple cultures and local environments in promoting cultural awareness and enhanced professional practice; report key learning outcomes to a professional or peer audience.

Students must have completed a minimum of 36 units at University of South Australia and have a minimum GPA of 4.0. Other criteria may apply, particularly where places are limited, specialist skills and knowledge are required or if external funding criteria are applied. Note that there may be individual requirements for individual field experiences such as vaccinations, pre-payments, visas or professional development that may need to be achieved prior to taking part in the field experience.
