Students will perform an occupational analysis, and design an occupation-based program based on an occupation which they choose. They will apply and evaluate the occupational therapy program for people of their own and other cultures.
American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) framework, Occupational Performance Process Model, Occupation-based theoretical models, occupation as a means and end, occupational analysis, occupational grading, learning theory, working with people from diverse cultures including but not limited to Aboriginal culture, identifying and addressing disabling influences in cultures, intervention planning, evaluation, outcomes and outcome measures.
