Preservice teachers will consolidate and enhance their professional knowledge, professional practice and professional engagement to extend their teaching capabilities as graduate teachers.
Preservice teachers will critique curriculum documents including the Australian Curriculum. They will engage in complex planning, assessing and reporting on student learning. The pre-service teachers will expand their capabilities as a reflexive practitioners exploring their beliefs, perspectives on social justice, their emerging philosophy and the impact on their practice. They will continue to implement the process of transformation for continuous improvement of their practice. Preservice teachers will refine their collaboration with professional teams, undertake key professional roles and responsibilities, appraise teacher wellbeing, explore the legal and ethical responsibilities at a graduate teacher level. They will expand partnerships with parents/ caregivers, career development, consider early career resilience and critically analyse and presenting data on their professional practice.
