Course aim

The three phases of this grand project provide the opportunity for students to put what they've learned through prior adjacent courses into practice on a more complex challenge, requiring a more stretching application of these skills. Some new elements are introduced, particularly in terms of the soft skills required to effect change.

The phase focuses principally on venture design and formation.

Course content

  • Stakeholder engagement, co-design and change management processes
  • Advanced prototyping toward development of a minimum viable product or proof of concept
  • Determine the optimal type of delivery model best suited to the innovation
  • Business model design
  • Anticipate the systemic effects and social impact of the proposed innovation
  • Directed study on Honours Innovation Challenge Part 2 in conjunction with industry partner and mentors
