Course aim

The course is designed to offer students a well-rounded understanding of the broad field of international trade law. It outlines the main legal issues in international commercial contracts and covers issues such as international trade in services and goods, marine and aviation insurance as well as international investment law. The dispute settlement mechanisms in international commercial law is also examined.

International Commercial Contracts: CISG and UNIDROIT Principles
Contracts for Carriage of Goods by Sea, Air and Land
Payments in International Trade Law
Cargo Insurance and Aviation Insurance in International Commercial Law
International Investment Law and Investment Disputes
Dispute Settlement in International Commercial Contracts: conflicts of laws, international commercial litigation and international commercial arbitration.
