Course aim

The aim of this course is to provide students with an innovative in situ approach to learning that incorporates real world experiential learning coupled with insights into contemporary international Law in an international setting.

Course content

This course will be conducted intensively as a field based course in a host country, supported by a pre-departure workshop and a return debriefing. The course will provide an opportunity for students to gain a first-hand perspective on the issues and challenges faced by organisations operating in a global environment. Key areas of coverage include: the influence of culture and the socio-cultural context on society, regulatory and legal considerations, trade related matters as well as strategic issues. Students will participate in an interactive workshop prior to departure to ensure appropriate cultural preparation, and attend a de-briefing workshop upon their return from the study tour.
