To enable students to develop competency in a variety of visual effects skills and techniques in order to create production standard paint, rotoscoping and compositing.
Students will be introduced to the preparation work required for scene set-up. Students will undertake up to eight production projects and develop familiarity and expertise with key visual effects techniques including rotoscope, paint, 2-D tracking, plate preparation and cleanup, and compositing. Students will gain skills needed to integrate, remove, isolate, grade and insert elements.
