To enable students to develop competency in a variety of visual effects camera tracking skills and techniques in order to create production standard matchmoves.
Students will become familiar with tracking and layout techniques. Students will undertake up to ten production projects and develop familiarity and expertise with key layout and camera tracking techniques including scaling, building proxy geometry, matchmove rigging, camera export, lens distortion and survey registration. Students will participate in the first of two Program Progress Reviews.
