To enable students to develop an understanding and appreciation of the current skills, procedures, issues and direction of the visual effects industry within a global context.
Students will undertake WHS and general workplace induction and orientation. Students will be introduced to current practices and roles in the visual effects industry. Students will develop familiarity with the knowledge and skills required to operate effectively within the global visual effects industry and how these are applied within various departments of visual effects production companies including production management, operations and workflows, business development, pipeline management, production accounting and human resources. Students will gain knowledge of the different career pathways available within the industry.
