This course provides students with theoretical and practical knowledge of the contemporary environment of business in an international region, and explores its impact on organisational management and leadership, business strategy, and business conduct for firms seeking to undertake business in that region.
Students completing the course develop a body of knowledge that contributes to a comprehensive and integrated application of knowledge of the business environment in the region under study.
The course will be in the form of an international tour where students will gain first-hand knowledge of the business environment in the region under study, develop the ability to identify the opportunities and challenges of conducting successful business in the region, and craft effective strategies that could be implemented to capture opportunities and overcoming the obstacles for a successful venture in that region.
