This course aims to provide graduate students with the knowledge and skills to evaluate allied health research evidence in a systematic and rigorous manner and to become educated consumers of health research which can be used to inform advanced clinical care and lifelong learning.
Developing an answerable clinical review question, customised search strategy including searching of peer and grey literature, establishing the strength and quality of the body of evidence, synthesising the findings using established frameworks, writing and presenting the findings from a systematic review with implication of practice and research which takes into account research evidence, clinical expertise, client’s values and circumstances into the clinical practice content.
