Expanded Painting Practices

Course aim

To explore advanced contemporary painting practices, complemented by digital and non traditional techniques and materials and to examine the discipline of painting in the expanded field of visual art.

Course content

Students will advance their knowledge and skills in painting, installation, digital technologies, material and substrate experimentation and non-traditional industrial processes and technologies. The students will also extend their knowledge and visual language of contemporary painting and adopt appropriate occupational health and safety procedures.
