To further develop a high level of proficiency in instrumental, interpretive, technical and performance skills.
Repertoire from the Bebop and Hard-Bop eras will be studied and the students will continue to plan and manage a practice routine and performance repertoire. This course will also focus on further development of individual performance skills with an emphasis on presentation and critical evaluation. Basic jazz piano skills will be further developed to supplement learning and provide the important working piano skills widely applicable in the music industry.
