Course aim

This course equips students with knowledge of procurement structures and processes in public and private sectors. It covers the theories and strategies in increasing value for business needs, buyer-supplier relationships and category management; as well as the analytical skills and competencies required in the realm of the digital age for strategic advantage.

Course content

Theories and frameworks guiding strategic sourcing and supply in global environments; Industry 4.0 shaping procurement digitalisation, support tools, pricing strategy, outsourcing, negotiation, tendering and contract management, addressing ethical issues and sustainable sourcing.
