Course aim

This course aims to:

  • develop analytical knowledge and skills in research methodology, and
  • develop competency in critical evaluation of research literature and in designing a feasible research project
    plan.
  • Integrate collected data, literature review and the result of systematic selection process to plan and conduct
    research activities

Course content

Characteristics of research, ethical and social implications of research, research problems, research tools,
research planning, qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, data collection and measurement
strategies, experiment design, operational research methods, information retrieval, academic integrity,
referencing, literature review, research project development, selection process using AHP and research report
writing.
