Course aim

To extend students' expertise as cutting edge professionals through engagement in critical analysis of the dynamic and interconnected wellbeing issues and priorities influencing education from a multi-disciplinary perspective, and to build capacity to demonstrate and lead development of the knowledge, engagement, research and ethical professional practice for sustained school community wellbeing.

Course content

Students will build capacity to nurture the wellbeing of students, educator/teacher wellbeing, and development of well school communities which contribute to sustained academic achievement and holistic wellbeing. Students will engage in critical analysis, problem solving and application of knowledge and skills addressing themes of technology, bullying/cyberbullying, community, spirituality, social/emotional, marginalisation, diversity and futures thinking while working and leading a professional learning community with educators committed to exploring wellbeing initiatives.
