Pharmacology 2

Course aim

To provide students with knowledge of the pathophysiology of selected organ systems and the mechanisms of action of therapeutic agents used to treat disorders of these systems.

Course content

The pathophysiology of key diseases affecting the major organ systems: integumentary, renal and urogenital, and of advanced stages cardiovascular diseases; metabolism of lipids and the pharmacological properties of specific classes of drugs used to treat these diseases .  Pharmacology of drugs to treat eye, ear, nose and throat conditions.
