To develop the technical knowledge, specialised software development skills for developing mobile applications on various platforms

Course content

Limitations, strengths and opportunities of development for mobile devices.

Market development for mobile applications.

Mobile and wireless technology – networking technologies and standards.

Software development frameworks and tools.

Applicable programming language extensions and constraints.

iPhone/iPad development.

Current applications (local and international) – analysis of successes and failures.
