To provide students with an authentic experience of a European Language and Culture (French or Italian) at an advanced level through an In-country immersion by studying at an approved tertiary institution.
Students will undertake a negotiated program with the host institution in the country of their target language. Students will develop a range of communication tasks related to contemporary themes and topics that extend students' understanding and use of a wide range of vocabulary, sentence structures and text types and deepen their sociocultural awareness of the communities and intercultural understanding in communication in their target language.

Completion of Language 2B in the target language within the Bachelor of Arts, or equivalent by approval from the Program Director. COURSE ALERT: This course is not available to students who have completed: LANG 2035 Italian In-Country OR LANG 2034 French In-Country
