To introduce preservice teachers to the skills, knowledge and professional expertise associated with teaching and learning in Textiles Technologies in a middle school setting and apply knowledge of the relevant Australian curriculum when designing, planning and developing Textiles Technologies teaching resources.
Acquisition of the necessary skills, knowledge, attitudes and professional expertise to teach both theory and practical components of textiles technologies programs which meet the needs and preferred futures of adolescents.
