Narrative Film

Course aim

To build on the concepts and skills students acquired in Introduction to Film and Television and introduces students to the key elements, techniques and practices of narrative production as it applies to short film

Course content

The course focuses on the classical narrative film form and the development of strong storytelling skills, high production values and the creative use of formal elements and techniques.  It provides students with the fundamental narrative knowledge and skills necessary for the production of a range of storytelling forms such as features, short films, animation, television drama, advertising and promos.
