To introduce students to the principles and conventions of design with hands-on design challenges for print media.
This course encourages experimentation to create professional multi-faceted print publications, including vector and bitmap artwork, through the use of current industry-standard software and technology. Students will develop an understanding of the theoretical concepts and implications of design conventions applied to professional design practice. This will be achieved through the design of multi-faceted publications and through reflective and critical thinking.
