Course aim

To consolidate students' theory, knowledge and practice of previous media arts courses and integrate the skills to produce a conceptually, technically and creatively strong and coherent exhibition level media arts production project.

Course content

Students will integrate and apply their knowledge and skills through the conceptualisation, design and production of a professional, exhibition level piece of work.  Students will focus on the development of a project which is conceptually strong, technically and professionally accomplished and meets the needs of its intended audience. The course will include: specialised project research and conceptualisation; project scripting and design; script and design evaluation; visualisation and storyboarding; research of appropriate and specialised project craft roles; research and use of specialised equipment, software and production techniques relevant to full implementation of project; and orientation to exhibition, professional frameworks and employment.

Completion of all required second year courses from the Bachelor of Media Arts or Bachelor of Film and Television, or from the Bachelor of Creative Industries (Digital Media, Film and Television, Animation and Visual Effects majors), or by approval from the Program Director.
