To further develop students' conceptual and practical understanding of the application of digital image and sound to the performing and digital arts industries.
Students build on the skills gained at the introductory level develop and apply digital imagery and sound to a range of media contexts including: live performance, installation, online platforms, film and animation. The course gives a theoretical understanding and practical application of digital media to entertainment.

Completion of any first year course from the Performing Arts major/sub-major within the Bachelor of Arts, or by approval from the Program Director. Note: Second or third year Bachelor of Media Arts students are not required to complete any prerequisites. COURSE ALERT: This course is not available to students who have completed: PERF 2004 Electronic Arts, Sound OR PERF 2006 Electronic Arts, Visual Theatre
